I couldn’t put it down! 💞 August 23, 2019
“In the third book “The Archangel Jarahmael and the War to conquer Heaven” series, Lillith is being held captive by Luciferael and his Auxilium. Jarahmael sets out to find Lillith and ends up disobeying the Almighty’s orders. Enoch, son of Lillith and Jarahmael grows up with Cain and Abel, sons of Adam and Eve. Jarahmael in an effort to find Lillith is tricked and becomes a prisoner of Luciferael.
First I must address Lillith. I just couldn’t stand her. I understand that she could never really defeat Archangels, but that doesn’t mean she had to just accept what was being told to her by whoever she was with at the time. I guess I was hoping for her to be just a bit cunning.
The Almighty: Why dear god (no pun intended) is he never around when he is needed? He seems to always have something better to do right when he is needed.
I enjoyed reading this authors vivid portrayal of our creation. Everything was thought out right down to the smallest detail. I thought I knew this story but I’ve never heard it told like this. An amazing series of books written by an amazing writer!”

A riveting rescue thriller August 21, 2019
“The opening sentence hooked me right in. I love it when a foreign language is incorporated in a story because that's usually an indication that extensive research was done and the fact that the author used as practically dead a language as Latin is just downright impressive.
The story jumps right into the rescue mission without much a background as to its context whatsoever but every minute detail was perfectly executed so there was never a dull moment. Despite the fast pacing, there were flashes of each character's backstory so we get to know where they're coming from and what drives them. I won't say much so as not to blow away the exciting plot twist but one aspect in this narrative that I really enjoyed was the internal monologues. The occasional cynicism and humor in them made the story even more compelling to read.”

5 stars and worth everyone of of them! 💞 August 17, 2019
“In Rebellion” is book two in the “Archangel Jarahmael and the Daemons Series”. It starts thewith Adam and Eve being banished from Garden of Eden to live on Earth with the Simians. In heaven, Lucifer rallies other Angels to join him in rebellion against the Almighty. With the Almighty temporarily away, the battle in heaven begins.
Even though I knew how the battle would end, I still found myself hanging on to every word. I liked that all the angels were involved in the battle, even the Potentate Angels who had no arms to hold a weapon were able to help. The construction of the pearly gates to assist with the battle was just genius. I loved this book even more than the first. Buy it, read it, I think you will love it also.”

You’ve got to read this book! It’s just that good! August 10, 2019
“In the Beginning” is the first book in “The Archangel Jarahmael and the Daemons series”. This is a story about how God created everything from the Angels’ point of view.
The author did an amazing job with this book. Every scene was painted so vividly and the story flowed fluidly. I loved how he was able to incorporate the creation and destruction of the dinosaurs into this story. A beautiful story told by an amazing writer. I cannot wait to read the second book in this series.”

A suspenseful thriller that keeps you guessing! July 19, 2019
“The Rescue: A Ghost Assassin Affair is a well-written, hard-to-put-down book with complex characters, and a plot that keeps you constantly guessing what's going to happen. The main character takes a risk going against instructions from his faceless mentor. Going with his instinct, he uncovers far more than he originally anticipated in his search for answers.”

Rooting for an assassin? June 10, 2019
“Coming into this book, I did not have a clue what a ghost assassin was and to be honest, assassin is never thought of it a positive light. However, once I started, not only do you root for Benning but respect him for sacrificing so much in the race to save humanity and finally getting his happily ever after or as close to it considering the situation.”

Just my opinion... March 29, 2019
“I’m never sure where to start when I review novels. I love reading, and I enjoy providing feedback. It’s a struggle though because I know the feedback won’t always be five stars, but I believe the stories and the authors deserve honest feedback.
There is a lot of work that goes into the writing of a book. If the novel is sixty thousand words, you can almost guarantee that the author really wrote over a hundred thousand in the process. After the writing is done, the editing must begin. There’s a critical point during that process where at some point before publication the author should read their novel aloud to catch the mistakes their brain skimmed over during the edit.
First I’ll review the reasons I liked the book.
Any good rescue story is always a good read. I personally like the secret spy aspect and the different types of guns and weapons that come into this type of story.
I liked how it was apparent at the beginning of each chapter which character’s perspective you would be reading.
I also enjoyed getting the full story of the good guys and the bad guys by reading each of those perspectives.
Now for the hard-hitting honesty portion of the review.
Errors in published novels drive me mad. If you’re going to go through the expense of having a book published at least do the story a favor and read it before you send it in for publishing. I understand that there will always be a few errors. No one can find every single mistake, it’s impossible and no one’s perfect. It’s difficult for the human brain to catch -for example- an “and and” in a sentence because the brain basically does an autocorrect for you, so it’s missed. I know that these can happen from time to time and I forgive them to a point. However, when they come up over and over again, I can’t help but think that either the author did not use an editor or they need a new editor.
The second point—that is only second because grammar in a novel is so important—the author's depiction of female love interests is laughable. He writes women as if they have no opinion of themselves and must drop their panties in exchange for savior efforts because they just can’t help themselves. I personally have never met a woman that has just been kidnapped and tortured or a woman that is being chased or is an abused wife that when introduced to a new man must instantly have him inside her. It’s not realistic at all, and as a woman, I was offended and wanted to skip past those parts as they do not in any way respectfully represent women or their sexuality. It made me wonder what kind of women the author has been exposed to that made him write them this way.
I will read any novel that catches my interest. If the writing is terrible, if the grammar is awful, if the story is lacking, I will read it. I will finish the story and give it my honest opinion because doing otherwise does not provide any assistance to the novel or the author. Every story deserves its light in the sun even if it’s an example of what not to do. As a reader, I will always strive to do what is best for the story.
My final point.
In my personal opinion which should only be seen as that—my opinion. This story was good, but it could be great. The women/love interests need a re-write, and all the grammatical errors need to be addressed. If those things happen, I would re-read it and possibly read any others—if this novel is a series. In the absence of those things, I wouldn’t be interested in anything else from this story.”

A Fast Paced Thriller With A Great Plot August 16, 2018
“I literally stumbled upon this book by accident as I was looking for something written by John Grisham. Upon purchasing it, I was not certain what to expect as previous books written by Attorney John J Higgins were mostly about angels. When the book arrived, the cover caught my attention first as it was artfully designed. I read the book in a week and loved it. Without giving the plot away, I can say that the hero, Chet Benning, captured my attention as did his main pursuit, Cleo. The story line is clever and offers several twists and turns. The writing is crisp and concise. Furthermore, since the book is written in larger print, it is also an easy read for a more elderly audience although it is suitable to all mature adults. I have told several of my friends about this thriller and am looking forward to additional books written by Attorney Higgins. As a side note, the book will make an excellent holiday gift.”

“5 years after I purchased this book, I finally finished reading it... It is masterfully written and quite allegorical. Former District Attorney John J Higgins really knows how to tell a story. Whether you are an avid angel follower or someone who likes a great story, I would highly recommend you read this one. I am looking forward to Book 3 in this series and also to any fiction novels that Attorney Higgins may be writing... I had heard rumors that an autobiography might be in the works, or so we hope? Thanks for a fascinating read, and I personally want to see more...”

Interesting novel of angel origins. January 8, 2018
“I have to say the story is a bit bizarre, angel love for the first human woman !! But IF you believe in God, Angels, Heaven, it makes an interesting novel for their origin and relationships. I guess the romance had to be included. I have to hand it to the author, that the last few chapters pull you in enough that it makes you want to get the next part of the trilogy to find out where the story goes. It's audience is probably freshman / sophomore high school.”

“I'm a huge fan of Archangels so the book cover sold me right away that it was going to be good but I sure didn't expect the fantastic story unfolding capturing my full attention right away. The details of the angels and heaven were incredible which made me wonder if the Author had visions of heaven & angels. The author's creativity was displayed through the entire spellbind book. If you love Archangels and love, you'll love this look. I can't wait to read all of John J Higgins books. Just super excited for more.”

The Angelic Action-Adventure Continues! July 27, 2017
“Book 2 in the series - I really enjoyed the story, the action and the portrayals of the angelic realm in the time of the Garden of Eden. Cherubs, Potentates, Archangels, the Seven Heavens, the Pyramid portals on Earth - very cool stuff. Archangel Jarahmael was not familiar to me prior to this book series - now I'm a fan. I didn't concern myself with scriptural or scientific accuracy (how can that be proven anyway?) although my one quibble was accepting that the angels had advanced powers yet had no way to communicate with each other telepathically or otherwise. That aside, I'm anxious to see the story through to its final conclusion. Time to get Book 3!”

Not biblically correct.... March 3, 2016
“Pretty good read but I will buck the trend and say that I didn't care for the non-biblical liberties taken by the author. Before I am assailed with criticism of my criticism, I know it is fiction and I hope that people enjoy this book if it is their cup of tea but personally I would rather read something like Harry Aderton's Heaven's Night or Peretti's Darkness series. Same great story without contradicting the biblical account.”
